Applying insights from social cognitive neuroscience to enhance leadership effectiveness
  SCARF Self

SCARF Self is a short multiple-choice survey that takes only minutes to complete.
It is designed to introduce you to the SCARF model and give you an insight into the order in which the SCARF elements currently matter to you.

Knowing your preferences within the SCARF model can help you:
  • Understand your own reactions and those of others
  • Better regulate your emotions
  • Better communicate your needs to others
  • Make choices more suited to your own preferences
There are no right or wrong answers. You will be asked to consider what you think your preferences will be, followed by a series of multiple-choice questions.

Simply choose the statement that best describes how you would react in each of the given scenarios. Please don’t try to guess which question matches which domain – we have put them in random order to help avoid this. Simply focus on what you would most likely do in that situation.

Once you click the submit button at the end of the survey, your results will appear on screen. You will then be able to print or email a copy for your records.

We are currently researching the reliability and validity of this assessment, so have included a couple of short feedback questions at the end.
